Are you ready for the party?

It seems that everywhere you look I find people talking about WildStar. Names - it and ask about it. Of all the questions that we receive (apart from the constant requests for access to the beta) people want to know if we are going to follow the Convention circuit. So far this year we have seen the Role Play Convention in Germany and Dreamhack in Sweden.

We have also attended the PAX East and carried out two independent Arkship events, one here in sunny southern California and another for our European friends in Brighton. United Kingdom.

Rest assured that we have been busy but you haven't seen anything yet!

I can officially confirm that we drag a group of members of the development team of Carbine Studios the following events of 2013:

Gamescom 2013: Cologne (Germany) - 22-August 25

For those of you that you're not familiar, Gamescom is held in Cologne, Germany, and is one of the conventions where meet most fanatical gamers in the world. I just took a look at the specifications of the design for our booth and let me tell you that you will marvel. Not to mention the content we're creating for this event. This will include new ads, hours of gameplay with content that you've never seen before and a lot of special events that will give our fans in Germany and the rest of the world the opportunity to be together with the team of WildStar were. We are finalizing the details on our events and working on more opportunities to try the game out of what these conventions. Stay tuned for future news.

 

PAX Prime: Seattle (WA) - 30 August to 2 September

Now if you have not heard about Pax, perhaps you should... spend more time on your computer. If we take as a reference PAX East this year promises to be an amazing show for us. As the Gamescom, we have covered our schedule with activities and of course with hours of play where you can enjoy the latest content of WildStar. This includes panels with developers, incredible activities outside the booth and something with which I'm particularly excited: we will present the first and only Beta Tester panel at our stand, giving you the opportunity to (almost) all questions you may have about how it is to work with the development team to be a beta tester of WildStar, questions about content? The game mechanics? Names - the and can surely say something about. As for Gamescom, we are finalizing the details on our events, including a still-secret gift and very special, on PAX Prime. We had so much to share, that they had to add another day to the event to show it all! (OK, not us looked about it but anyway we're gaining credit).

There are many other planned events to share with you in the coming days but it is still a little early to reveal more details.

Guild Wars 2: who are the Filoetereos?

Steve Hwang, Guild Wars 2 game designer reveals all the secrets of the Filoetereos, the Pirates of the firmament of Tyria.

Still not is known too for the Filoetereos because only have been seen recently in lion's arch.

The Dragonicidio was in full swing in lion's arch and citizens cheerfully aporreaban dragon pinatas, zampaban zhaitamelos and throwing Fireworks. Everyone was enjoying the festival... until the tragedy gripped the ceremony from burning of effigies. After alter one of the effigies to make it emit an arcane vibration, the Filoetereos descended from the heavens with the Inquisa golems, ambushed the Council and annihilated one of its members. If not for the courage of the heroes who helped the lion guard, many more members of the Council had succumbed. But no one has been entrusted: the Filoetereos have done nothing but start to spread in Tyria.

When the equipment of the living world of June was formed, we needed to create a new Alliance of pirates and the Inquisa asura able to sneak into the party of the Dragonicidio of arc of the lion and triggering a series of events that forever change the fate of the Council of the boat.

Until the final name of the team, I was called "Pin-Quest" to this new Alliance plan of joke. ArenaNet uses many unofficial names among us to remember more easily what determined faction, does it look like and what skills used. "Dramas", for example, was the provisional name of the flame Legion and dredge them before being baptized as the fused Alliance.

Currently, the presence of pirates in Tyria is not anything new. There are already various pirate factions laid down in Guild Wars 2, as the Pirates of Costa Mareasangrienta Covington, or triple threat of aircrews pirate scum, spoiler and Wiley in the Campos de Gendarran. And given that so many players have already faced pirates, how confer an appearance and a distinctive air to our new Buccaneers?

First, we needed to establish an aesthetic pirate only. For the Filoetereos, we are inspired by an armature of steampunk style which was in development.

The next thing we believe is that all the pirates have their boat: John Silver the long, Jack Sparrow, Captain Harlock... and our pirate clan could not be less.

However, instead of being the classic villains of seas, the Filoetereos dominate the heights, which meant that we should provide them with suitable transport. It occurred to us that our Pirates of the firmament, delinquents by nature, stolen aircraft to the Pact, which has its own fleet.

But the sky pirates had to transmit a character of its own; not just by their appearance, but by their behavior in the game. They were allied with the Inquisa, the Organization asura unscrupulous whose research knows no moral limits. Certainly, the Alchemy asura can lend the aura of these pirates steampunk. In this case, impregnate to the aesthetics of lightning Filoetereos: arrival is preceded by a lightning strike, and the effects of their abilities, traps and weapons are always electrical.

Finally, we needed a solid name that would convey the pirates and the Inquisa worked as a team. We have just decanted us by a name proposed by our screenwriter, John Ryan: the Filoetereos.

The word "Ethereal", ether, suggests in air and magic, and "filo" evokes the taste of pirates by swords. Short names are cool, easy-to-remember and give players an easily recognizable suffix for variations of enemies: kickers filoetereos thugs filoetereos and swordsmen filoetereos.

We always follow a process markedly repetitive development and collaboration for all updates of the living world. The sooner we are able to introduce a content in a playable way, more time we can receive opinions and information of coworkers and alpha testers to then review it. Even before the steampunk armor added to the game and be prepared map of the Dungeon of history, the Elijah Miller designer had created a map of tests where we could fight against the Filoetereos, try their different skills, sharpen their effects and synchronization and establish an initial level of difficulty.

We wanted to create an army with characters who meet their respective roles and complement their skills and conditions. Here we present a first approximation of the army of Filoetereos that you will find. Note: the veteran versions have extra skills not mentioned here.

Hector filoetereo this hard-hitting but slow pirate is able to immobilize and shoot down their opponents. Crusher filoetereo this sturdy pirate has a combo of three hits and shield. Filoetereo this pirate swordsman inflicts bleeding attacks and incapacitadores, in addition to throwing daggers rivals out of the reach of his sword. Foreman filoetereo what lack them these Brutes in speed make up for it by applying conditions. Kicker filoetereo this conjurer is able to channel a lightning attack and a stunning aura. Grenadier filoetereo as its name suggests, this ruffian throws grenades to sweep their rivals.

Those of you who venture to the Dungeon of history the Filoetereos refuge will be with a few new heads with their own mechanics rife with challenges. The groups will face an engineer asura with rotary electric walls, a first officer with a cannon on his shoulder cannon and partitioning and, finally, a captain with a mastery of the sword and a surprising accuracy. I don't want to tell you too much, so, without a doubt, you should discover them for yourselves.

Inspector Kiel will need your skill and determination to put an end to the threat of the Filoetereos, so give a pass to the front, fight for Lion's arch and show them that they can run, but not to hide. See you in the game!

Get the Season 2 of Vindictus

NEXON is ready to launch the Season 2 in Vindictus. The new season will include fantastic improvements in content, quests, monsters, battles, and many more. Look at the following video to get an idea.

The list of content that will be added include:

Guild Wars 2: the Dragonicidio Guide Part 2

A mysterious message you sent in search of private investigator Marjory Delaqua in the beginning of the end, a tavern in the East fair of Linde of the Godhead. After their introduction cinematic, go back to the lion's arch to investigate. All instances of history will be a player. Speak with the researcher at Kiel in the great Plaza for access to "The place of the facts", an instance to a player. After the scene between Marjory and Kiel, speak with Marjory for a research kit. With the help of the kit, you can exonerate five of murder suspects. A message from Marjory you informed that they have located three of the suspects. WildStar: the Aurin (Exile)

Aided by mercenaries without fear Granok, humans faced the Dominion and made rescue boats reach Arboria - but soon it was clear that not all the Aurin could save. Desolate, Myala Arboria escaped, but he promised to those who remained that one day he would return.

Despite the tragedy they suffered, the Aurín were determined to survive. and it the day they return to Arboria, expel the Dominion and reclaim their beloved homeworld.

War Thunder Streaming with Twitch with a single click!

The closed beta of Age of Wulin now available!

World of Tanks 8.6 available today!

Esta versión supone un reajuste masivo de las características técnicas de la artillería, para ello se han ampliado las ramas de las AAP, con nuevas incorporaciones. Esta y otras implementaciones en la versión 8.6.

Este mapa asiático otoñal ofrece un buen equilibrio de zonas abiertas en las que hay que tener cuidado con ataques de artillería enemiga, así como áreas "cerradas" o de protección, como colinas y pasos estrechos que proporcionan cobijo, además de ser un buen escenario para las emboscadas. Jugar en este mapa requiere flexibilidad y un buen sentido estratégico.

Un tanque polifacético donde los haya, con un buen blindaje frontal y también en la torreta, una decente cadencia de tiro y un más que aceptable tiempo de apuntamiento. A pesar de su mejorable velocidad máxima, el Excelsior tiene una satisfactoria potencia de aceleración y una buena velocidad de crucero. No olvidéis que podéis utilizar este tanque para entrenar tripulaciones de otros tanques pesados británicos.

Esta nueva versión supone un reajuste masivo de las características técnicas de la artillería, además de la extensión de todas sus ramas tecnológicas hasta el rango X. Para ello, se han desplazado artillerías a rangos superiores y se han incluido nuevas en los rangos intermedios.

Con ello se pretende que a partir de ahora las batallas sean más equilibradas, limitando el papel decisivo y determinante de las artillerías.

Una artillería decente para su rango, con buenos daño potencial y rango de alcance. A pesar de no ser una de las máquinas con mayor movilidad disponibles, su pequeño tamaño proporciona unos buenos valores de camuflaje.

¡Una verdadera bestia! Con la configuración máxima, puede infligir hasta 1 850 puntos de daño por proyectil. Este daño alfa tan elevado se ve compensado con un cañón con un limitado ángulo de desplazamiento horizontal y un desesperante tiempo de recarga. Aun así, no hay que olvidar que esta máquina es capaz de acabar con una gran cantidad de blindados con un único proyectil, eso sí, bien proyectado.

Esta artillería de bajo rango es algo aparatosa. Sin embargo esta carencia de movilidad se ve compensada con un cañón de alta precisión y un buen rango de alcance para ser de rango II. No hay que subestimar su potencial como “soporte” en la retaguardia.

Esta artillería requiere un estilo de juego parecido al del G.W. Panther. Su semitorreta proporciona un amplio ángulo de desplazamiento horizontal, y su cañón tiene valores decentes de precisión y cadencia de tiro. Esta máquina proporciona una buena lluvia de proyectiles.

Muy similar a la ya existente G.W. Tiger. La principal diferencia es que esta última cuenta con un mejor blindaje que la versión (P). Si disfrutáis con la regular G.W. Tiger, esta nueva incorporación no os decepcionará.

Una buena combinación: movilidad, buena cadencia de tiro, tiempo de apuntamiento y daño potencial más que aceptables. Su mejor carta: el amplio ángulo de desplazamiento horizontal de su cañón que permite cubrir gran parte del mapa sin necesidad de reajustar la posición del casco. Con todo, un vehículo con el que os gustará jugar.

Este vehículo es un buen conjunto de buena movilidad, daño alfa y ángulo de desplazamiento horizontal. Aun así, estas características se contrarrestan con un mejorable tiempo de apuntamiento y una escasa precisión de tiro. Se requiere paciencia para dominarla, pero bien comandada puede llegar a ser uno de los enemigos más mortíferos.

Una satisfactoria velocidad de apuntamiento, daño, cadencia de tiro y un buen ángulo de desplazamiento horizontal del cañón. Movilidad reducida que se ve compensada con buenos valores de camuflaje.

Se trata de un vehículo excepcional puesto que a diferencia de muchas de las artillerías, cuenta con una práctica torreta que permite apuntar a cualquier punto del mapa sin necesidad de mover el vehículo. Además, dispone de una movilidad y tiempo de apuntamiento más que aceptables. El único inconveniente: la escasa precisión de tiro. Un factor importante para los objetivos más distantes.

Los vehículos de rango X (excepto la artillería) disfrutarán de un incremento permanente de créditos. Los créditos de los vehículos de rango VI, VII, VIII y IX (excepto la artillería) también se incrementarán, aunque no tanto como en los de rango X.

La protección antifragmentación se ha reajustado. A partir de ahora, este equipamiento ofrecerá una protección mejorada contra embestidas y explosiones. También se podrán observar mejoras en el sonido, en los ajustes gráficos y mecánicas de juego.

DOTA 2 will arrive in summer

DotA 2 is currently available via purchase (in the form of early access) either by invitation, invitation that almost everyone has in their inventories of Steam. NetEase moves against Chinese private servers

In the last publication quarterly Blizzard, filed last may, Blizzard announced that the number of subscribers of World of Warcraft had waned, largely in the Asian market. Some Chinese players, have begun defecting from the official servers in pursuit of private servers. This has been indicated by NetEase, Chinese Word of Warcraft operator. After many months of research, the study has closed several illegal private servers that are being operated by players, but today they have been arrested and prosecuted by local authorities, including charges for fraud and use of intellectual property.

In accordance with the Chinese portal 17,173, the defendants operated several private servers called "Shanda World of Warcraft" confusing the larger players with "Shanda", one of the operators local, whose games we can find the Chinese version of Aion. Aion 4.0 - New zones are extremely dangerous places...

WildStar: the Granok (Exile)

Several hundred years ago, the Granok civilization on the planet Gnox was extremely primitive - but the Dominion saw great potential in these huge stone Giants and they sent ambassadors Mechari to facilitate their assimilation into the Empire. The ambassadors offered the Granok the gifts of knowledge and technology, asking in return only that they kneel and swear eternal loyalty to the Empire. The Granok responded by tearing apart into small pieces to the Mechari.

The reigning emperor was enraged by the news of the assassination of their ambassadors. It declared war on the Granok, and the powerful Dominion legions were deployed. They came to Gnox with overwhelming force, assuming that they would quickly abolished the natives. Armed with primitive weapons, the intrepid warriors Granok fought bravely - but were not any resistance to the superior technology of the Dominion.

Refusing to accept defeat, a young leader named Durek went daring raids to places commanded by the Dominion, stealing weapons, armor and powerful weapons. Twisted Tribe Announces Nadirim closed

In a brief press release, Twisted Tribe, Balazs Sipocz, CEO announced Nadirim, its MMO browser based on an Arab fantasy world inspired by the tales of the thousand and one nights, close their doors permanently the next day on June 30.

After almost two years since its launch, the Twisted Tribe team cannot face the tough competition in the sector, since it has been unable to attract a minimal numer of players to ensure that the game servers continue to function.

Balazs Sipocz is very grateful with all the players that have been enjoying Nadirim, tried to form a community of dedicated and passionate with your game, but not enough.

From MMORPG Hispanic, we wish that the staff of Twisted Tribe come back soon to the fray with a new title and that they achieve the success they deserve.

Arena of Heroes: Open Beta

If your first sticks with the MOBA is that the movement is too fast, Sand of Heroes can be a game more suited to your tastes. Developed by Sneaky Games, Arena of heroes is a MOBA in shifts, which focuses more on the strategy that go from one side to the other using skills without stopping.

Basically, you and another player you will see the faces in an arena, each controlling a team of four heroes in a battle for supremacy. In essence, it is a MOBA, but with a smaller zone and a pace more deliberate and strategic. Both your and your opponent will receive two minutes to make your movements, or you can also try the synchronized mode where you can play several games simultaneously, with up to 2 days allocated for the innings.

Arena of Heroes has passed to officially be in Open Beta, so you can go and try to pleasure.

Arena of Heroes will be released on PC, Mac, iOS and here a time for Android and Ouya.

Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn: Arcanist, Scholar and Summoner

The Arcanist, type caster-class will come accompanied by a pet that will help us in our adventures.

But the surprise comes when we are shown having two "Jobs" associated to it, Summoner , and Scholar, where other classes have only 1 job.

The Summoner, will be class with par excellence with several pets to invoke that we will use to defeat our enemies, while the Scholar is rumored that it might be a kind support for the Group buffer/debuffer.

The Summoner class was a favorite in Final Fantasy XI, and we do not doubt that will be in the same place in the new version of FFXIV.

But the funny thing, as mentioned above is that a single class has 2 jobs. We hope that this is a "track" to leave us to guess that more and more Jobs will be added to the game.

FORGE: the new class Tinker now available!

Dark Vale has announced some days ago that the new class Tinker of FORGE is now available free of charge for all players.

This new class comes loaded with an arsenal of curious "gadgets", like the "Tasting Pad" capable of launching the enemies by air, the "Barricade", a wall that can be deployed in front of the Tinkerer and will repel fire enemy, or the "Turret" able to strafe all living enemies.

For thousands of years, humans from the planet Cassus ruled the Empire in the Galaxy. But as the power of the Dominion grew, were enacted a series of unpopular policies that led to civil unrest.
